I Know He’s Watching

Hello everyone. I hope everyone has had a good weekend. I want to start off by sharing a song with you. I woke up this morning thinking about the song, “His Eye Is On The Sparrow.” Here is a portion of the song:
Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come, Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home, When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He: His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me; His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free, For His eye is on the sparrow, And I know He watches me.
Just listening to these words reminded me of how much God has watched over me. I thought about different things I have been through in life, and I’m just so grateful. Even during those moments when if felt like God was silent, He was yet there watching over me and bringing me through.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I have definitely had my fair share of days when I felt alone and like no one understood what I was going through. What a blessing it is to be able to find reassurance in God’s Word, and in hymns that God is always with us. He told us in Hebrews 13:5 that He would never leave us nor forsake us.
I encourage you, if you’re going through a difficult time right now, remember God is near. He knows what you’re going through and he DOES care. For all of my fellow busy mom’s, please try to find a few minutes this week to spend with God. Let Him remind you just how valuable and important you are to Him.
